Waste Cooking oil to fuel cars

People (especially in Indonesia) must have been familiar with the "waste cooking" (jelantah in Bahasa Indonesia) oil. Waste cooking oil is waste oil that comes from the types of cooking oils such as corn oil, vegetable oil, samin oil etc.

Although this oil proved to be very good for frying various foods such as salted fish, tofu, tempeh, etc. (which often we eat from street vendors), but there are dangers inherent in it. In jelantah oil contained in the compounds (saturated fatty acids) that can cause diseases such as narrowing of blood vessels that can lead to coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension to cancer.
Therefore, proper housewife very concerned about the health of his family, only use oil once or twice only.

Then the next question, where the jelantah oil will be removed?

As we do until now, jelantah oil is disposed of with household waste water other. It's a shame. Many who do not know that Indonesia is currently existing technologies that can use oil as a mixture jelantah fuel to drive vehicles such as picture that can be seen on this blog.

Imagine how much jelantah oil is wasted now?

Bagaimana pendapat Anda?

It is awfull indeed if we think of waste cooking oil to be used as car fuel. Yes it can make the engine ignite and the car or bus running, however, how much deposits it can create within the engine compartment Sooner or later the car will stalled.
.
You will be surprise to think of using waste cooking oil as hair cream..
In the old days, during the Japanese occupation in Indonesia, or in the early year of Indonesian independence, many young man as well as women used cooiking oil as hair cream to make their hair looked shiny and their head looked in tidy good shape. There was no ready made hair cream sold in the market.
